Carbon Emissions Reporting:
Raytell Electrical has adopted the required methodology for carbon emissions reporting, covering the three Scopes defined by the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol:
- Scope 1 (Direct Emissions): Emissions from company-owned or controlled sources, such as on-site fuel consumption for generators and gas heating.
- Raytell has minimized direct emissions by:
- Installing solar panels and energy storage systems (ESS) at our office to reduce reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
- Encouraging local recruitment, which reduces commuting emissions.
- Raytell has minimized direct emissions by:
- Scope 2 (Indirect Emissions from Energy): Emissions from the generation of purchased electricity consumed by the company.
- We have reduced these emissions by:
- Utilizing solar energy at our premises.
- Sourcing green energy for our remaining energy needs from renewable energy suppliers.
- We have reduced these emissions by:
- Scope 3 (Other Indirect Emissions): Emissions from sources not directly controlled by the company, such as supply chain operations, waste management, and employee commuting.
- Raytell’s measures include:
- Partnering with suppliers who use electric vehicles for deliveries.
- Ensuring all old lighting fittings and electrical materials are responsibly disposed of through certified waste disposal partners, who provide waste transfer notes for compliance.
