Art Gallery Entrance Lighting

  • The existing copper pendant luminaires within the art gallery entrance areas were removed and replaced with a MID lighting approved bespoke LED

 

  • The works all consisted of new distribution and lighting control for these

 

 Staircase 16 and 17 Lighting

  • The existing normal and emergency lighting installation in the two stairways was replaced with new luminaires, controls and
  • The luminaires were free issue by the Barbican Centre and are manufactured by Zumbtobel
  • The Barbican Centre utilised a 230V control battery system to serve a system of maintained luminaires about the
  • The staircase 16 and 17 area has a number of emergency luminaires which were re-wired and
  • All light fittings on the stair areas were controlled via Exor Presence Detectors and are situated as shown on the As Installed

 

Subways

  • The service subways were re-wired with new Thorlux light and emergency light fittings supplied and fitted as to the As Fitted

 

  • In the main the light fittings are controlled via 230V Exor Presence Detectors with the rest controlled via local switching inclusive of emergency test key switching
